Boyd was released by the Packers on Monday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Boyd was limited to just two games last season by an ankle injury, but it was thought that he would have a role on the Packers' defensive line in 2016 after appearing in 15 games and starting four the year before. It's not clear where he stands health-wise, but there's a good chance he hooks on with another team in the near future.
