Kalil Pimpleton: Let go by Detroit

The Lions waived Pimpleton on Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Pimpleton, an undrafted wideout out of Central Michigan, has impressed throughout his first NFL offseason, but he finds himself among the first wave of cuts ahead of Tuesday's 53-man roster deadline. Per Wilson, he's expected to garner interest from other NFL teams, but if he clears waivers, he'll certainly be a candidate to join Detroit's practice squad.
