Nick Nelson: Waived after failed physical

The Raiders waived Nelson (knee) with a failed physical designation Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Nelson was waived by the team in May and landed on the reserve/PUP list, and this knee injury is expected to keep him out for the 2020 season as well. The 2018 fourth-round pick has played in just 12 games since entering the league, and he'll shift his focus on getting healthy for the 2021 campaign.
