Panthers' Tae Davis: Season over

Davis (foot) was placed on the Panthers' injured reserve Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official website reports.

Davis was carted off the field during the Panthers' preseason loss to the Jets. It looks like the injury was severe enough to cause a premature end to his 2024 campaign. The linebacker was a key special-teams player for Carolina last year, but he will now set his sights on the 2025 season.
