Allen (thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Stu Jackson for the Rams' official site reports.
Allen didn't practice at all during Week 11 prep due to a thumb injury, so it's not surprising to see him ruled out. In his absence, Coleman Shelton will likely operate as the Rams' starting center against New Orleans.
