Shaheed was waived by the Saints on Tuesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The wide receiver failed to appear in any of the Saints' preseason games before being let go Tuesday. There's a good chance that Shaheed clears waivers and signs with the Saints' practice squad.
