Averett (thigh) is questionable for Sunday's game at Chicago, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Averett didn't practice Friday but didn't carry a designation earlier this week, so his status is worth monitoring prior to Sunday's kickoff. If he can't go, then Jimmy Smith (hip) or Chris Westry might be in line to play bigger roles in the secondary.
