Rysen John: Let go by Big Blue

The Giants waived John on Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

John spent the 2021 campaign on IR with an ankle injury and has yet to make his NFL debut. Fellow tight end Jake Hausmann was also waived Tuesday, and it appears the Giants are content to move forward with a combination of fourth-round selection Daniel Bellinger and free-agent acquisitions Ricky Seals-Jones and Jordan Akins at TE.
