Seahawks' Brandon Shell: Shifts to IR

Shell (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Nathan Rauschenberg of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Shell was ruled out for Seattle's Week 18 game against Arizona on Friday, though this move will give the team an extra roster spot. He had served as the starting right tackle when healthy, though Jake Curhan will likely take over that role Sunday.
