The Vikings released McGill (ankle) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday.
McGill was set to miss the entire 2022 campaign after landing on IR, but he'll now be free to join a new team once he clears his current ankle issue. The veteran defensive lineman appeared in two games last year, totaling one tackle and one pass defense across 33 defensive snaps.
