Tanzel Smart: Gets waived Monday

The Jets waived Smart on Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

The 29-year-old appeared in three games this season and has spent parts of the last four years with the Jets after spending his first three seasons with the Rams. Smart has 40 games of NFL experience under his belt.
