Green will play Thursday's preseason finale against the 49ers, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Green missed two weeks of camp due to a concussion before the 15th-overall selection in the 2022 draft returned to practice last week. The Texans decided not to rush him into game action last Friday, so Green will make his professional debut Thursday. The team hopes he can develop quickly enough to become a starter Week 1 and improve the interior of the offensive line.
