Titans' Mehdi Abdesmad: Placed on IR

Abdesmad (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

The defensive end suffered an ankle injury in Saturday's loss to the Jaguars, effectively ending his season. In two games with the team, he recorded one tackle and primarily served a reserve role. The Titans promoted Antwaun Woods from the practice squad in a corresponding move.
