Travis Toivonen: Joins Giants' practice squad

Toivonen signed with the Giants' practice squad Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Toivonen spent much of training camp with the Seahawks and also had a previous stint with the Giants. He hasn't found a new opportunity since being cut Nov. 2, though he'll now add depth to the team's beat up receiving corps that includes injuries to Kenny Golladay (ribs), Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Kadarius Toney (quadriceps).
