Vaughns was cut from Pittsburgh's practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Vaughns signed in Pittsburgh at the start of the season and has been on the practice squad since. An undrafted free agent, he'll now look for another opportunity to stick in the league.
