Tyvis Powell: Cut by Texans

Powell was let go by the Texans on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Powell was picked up just before training camp kicked off, but his time with the team will be short. The journeyman safety will now seek a new destination.
