Vikings' Dean Lowry: Placed on injured reserve

The Vikings placed Lowry (pectoral) on injured reserve Monday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.

Lowry will now miss the remainder of the regular season due to a torn pectoral suffered during Sunday's loss to the Broncos. The Vikings are now thin at defensive end, as there's currently no healthy player at the position behind starters Jaquelin Roy and Jonathan Bullard.
