  • Chiefs' Gardner Minshew: Hurts knee Sunday

Minshew was forced out of Sunday's game against the Titans with a knee injury.

With Patrick Mahomes (knee) done for the season, Minshew drew the start in his place Sunday. Following his exit from the contest, Chris Oladokun is in at QB for the Chiefs.

  • Jordan Mason RB | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Mason: Won't return Sunday

Mason (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the Giants.

With Mason done for the day, Aaron Jones -- who returned to the contest after hurting his ankle -- and Zavier Scott are available to handle Minnesota's Week 16 backfield duties. Mason will thus target a possible return to action Thursday against the Lions.

  • Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Done for Week 16 due to concussion

Overshown (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, AllDLLS.com reports.

Overshown was hurt during the first quarter and headed to the blue medical tent to get evaluated for a concussion. He eventually went to the locker room before being ruled out. Marist Liufau may get more snaps on defense with Overshown out of action. The latter will need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in order to play on Christmas Day against the Commanders.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Back in Sunday's game

Jones (ankle) returned to Sunday's game against the Giants, Ben Goessling of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

While Jones is back in the contest after having exited it, fellow RB Jordan Mason, who also sustained an ankle injury Sunday, has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 16 action. In that context, Zavier Scott is available to handle complementary backfield snaps for the Vikings.

  • Robert Rochell CB | CAR

Panthers' Robert Rochell: Questionable to return

Rochell (ankle) is questionable to return in Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Rochell left early in the second quarter of Sunday's game with an ankle injury. The 27-year-old appeared in five games this season, playing only on special teams, accounting for four total tackles.

  • Buccaneers' Anthony Nelson: Hurts knee, questionable to return

Nelson is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 16 game against Carolina due to a knee injury.

Nelson was hurt during the first quarter of the big NFC South matchup. The veteran linebacker typically logs a defensive snap share north of 50 percent while also contributing on special teams, so his exit is impactful. While Nelson is out, Chris Braswell and Jason Pierre-Paul could see more reps on defense.

  • Andrew Thomas OT | NYG

Giants' Andrew Thomas: Exits game with hamstring injury

Thomas (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Vikings, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

While Thomas is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return, Marcus Mbow has taken over as the Giants' left offensive tackle.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Hurts ankle in Week 16

Jones sustained an ankle injury during Sunday's contest at the Giants.

Fellow RB Jordan Mason also exited with an ankle injury, but while Mason needed a cart to leave the field, according to Alec Lewis of The Athletic, Jones was spotted jogging on the sideline, per Lewis. Zavier Scott took over the Vikings backfield to kick off their second drive of the game.

  • Jamaree Salyer OG | LAC

Chargers' Jamaree Salyer: Exits Week 16 game due to hamstring

Salyer (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup against Dallas.

Salyer's injury took place during the first quarter. He's been replaced at left tackle by Austin Deculus, per Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

  • Bills' Shaq Thompson: Exits game with neck injury

Thompson (neck) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Browns.

Thompson sustained the injury during the first quarter, and he's being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game. Dorian Williams will likely step into a more prominent role on defense for as long as Thompson is out of the game.
