Bourque was reassigned to AHL San Antonio on Monday.
The 26-year-old hasn't seen much ice time, averaging 10:46 per game, however, he hasn't done much with the opportunities given, only putting up three shots on goal in five games. He will likely be the first forward called up if someone gets injured.
