Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Goals in three straight

Nichushkin scored a goal on three shots in a 5-2 win over the Ducks on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old pounced on the puck in the right faceoff circle and went top shelf on John Gibson to give Colorado a 5-1 lead late in the third period. It was the fourth goal of the year for Nichushkin, who has found the back of the net in each of his last three games.
