Pastrnak required surgery to remove the olecranon bursa on his right elbow. He's not expected to play this coming Sunday or Tuesday.
The procedure reportedly was successful, and the Bruins are calling him day-to-day. Meanwhile, burgeoning forward Frank Vatrano is in the AHL rounding out his recovery from a broken foot. Fans of the Spoked B will be antsy waiting for both players to return, but unlike Vatrano who has yet to make his season debut, fantasy owners should have a good idea about what they'll be missing without Pasta in the lineup -- he's picked up 26 points in 27 games this season, putting him at a seven-way tie for 21st-best in the NHL.
