Dvorak collected a goal and an assist with two PIM in Saturday's 6-1 win over Detroit.
After going his first five games as a Canadien without a goal, Dvorak finally found the back of the net early in the second period when his attempt at a cross-crease pass banked in off the skate of a Detroit defender. He also chipped in with an assist on Mike Hoffman's power-play tally late in the opening frame. Dvorak had just one assist through his first five games of the season, so perhaps Saturday's fortunate bounce will help turn things around for a player who had 17 goals and 31 points in 56 tilts last season with Arizona.
