Larsson (abdomen) is expected to arrive in Washington on Tuesday, Samantha Pell of The Washington Post reports.
Larsson, who was traded to the Capitals in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick Monday, is coming off sports hernia surgery, and coach Todd McLellan believes the 29-year-old forward is still at least a week away from playing. Larsson picked up six goals and 15 points through 21 contests before undergoing surgery in early February.
