Flames' Nicolas Meloche: Joins Calgary

Meloche signed a one-year, $950,000 contract with the Flames on Wednesday.

Meloche's deal is one-way, which suggests he'll make the Flames' Opening Night roster. The 24-year-old went unqualified by the Sharks after posting seven points in 50 NHL contests last season, the first where he spent a majority of time with the big club.
