Foerster suffered a shoulder injury a few weeks ago that will keep him sidelined for at least five months, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports
Foerster had recorded three points in nine games for AHL Lehigh Valley this season. Selected by the Flyers with the 23rd overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft, the 19-year-old winger likely will have to wait another year to make his NHL debut due to this long-term injury.
