Gabriel Carlsson: Doesn't receive qualifying offer

Carlsson will become an unrestricted free agent Saturday because the Capitals didn't extend him a qualifying offer, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Carlsson had two assists in six games with Washington in 2022-23. He also recorded a goal and 15 points in 59 AHL outings with Hershey.
