Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Extends point streak to five games

Svechnikov scored a goal and an assist in Monday's 4-1 win over the Maple Leafs.

He helped set up Sebastian Aho midway through the second period for Carolina's first tally of the night, then capped the scoring with an empty-netter. Svechnikov has found the scoresheet in five straight games to begin the season, piling up five goals and nine points over that stretch as the 21-year-old looks to take another step forward in his development.
