Trocheck and the Hurricanes won't play the Senators on Thursday after the NHL suspended cross-border travel through the holiday break.
The Hurricanes' game Tuesday versus the Bruins was previously postponed as well, so they won't play again until Dec. 27 against the Panthers at the earliest. Trocheck has 19 points in 29 contests this season.
