Islanders' Cory Schneider: Sent back down

Schneider was reassigned to AHL Bridgeport on Tuesday, per CapFriendly.

Schneider was up with the big club as fill-in for Semyon Varlamov (undisclosed). The Islanders' next game is Thursday versus the Rangers, so Schneider could be recalled if Varlamov isn't able to suit up as the backup.
