Johnson signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Jets on Wednesday, Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet reports.

Johnson scored one goal in 14 games for the Wild last season while often serving on the taxi squad. The 26-year-old forward added a slight physicality as well with 29 hits and five PIM. With the Jets, he could compete for a bottom-six role.
