Kraken's Mason Appleton: Lands on IR

Appleton (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Marisa Ingemi of The Seattle Times reports.

Appleton will miss the Kraken's next two contests at a minimum. Max McCormick was recalled in a corresponding move Saturday to fill in up front while Appleton is on the shelf.
