Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Picks up 700th career point

Nugent-Hopkins logged a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

His helper on a Leon Draisaitl goal in the third period was the 700th point of Nugent-Hopkins' career. The 31-year-old Nugent-Hopkins achieved the feat in 883 appearances, earning 251 goals and 449 assists. Like many of his teammates, he is off to a slow start in 2024-25, earning four shots on net and a minus-2 rating in addition to his assist through two contests.
