Ekblad cleared COVID-19 protocols and practiced Monday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Ekblad had been in protocol since Dec. 16 but should be Florida's top right defenseman when they next play, whether that's Wednesday or a later date. The 25-year-old has tallied eight goals and 16 assists in 28 games this season.
