Red Wings' Elmer Soderblom: Recalled from minors

Soderblom was called up from AHL Grand Rapids on Wednesday.

Soderblom figures to immediately jump into the lineup against the Wild on Wednesday after Dylan Larkin (hand) was ruled out. Prior to suffering a lower-body injury, the 21-year-old Soderblom was mired in an eight-game pointless streak during which he registered just nine shots on target.
