Red Wings' Mrazek To Take Over Backup Goalie Job

Mrazek will be called up from AHL Grand Rapids to serve as the Red Wings' backup goalie while Jonas Gustavsson (shoulder) is sidelined, Helene St. James of The Detroit Free Press reports.Gustavsson will be out for an extended period after injuring his shoulder in Wednesday's game, so Mrazek will take over the backup duties behind regular goaltender Jimmy Howard. Gustavsson was playing in just his third game of the season Wednesday, so don't expect Mrazek to see much ice time.
