Red Wings' Vladislav Namestnikov: Generates insurance tally

Namestnikov had a goal on four shots in a 5-2 win over Vegas on Sunday.

The 28-year-old notched his fifth goal of the season when his sharp-angle shot from along the goal line snuck past Vegas netminder Laurent Brossoit, putting Detroit up 4-1 midway through the second period. The goal snapped a mini three-game point drought for Namestnikov, who now has seven points through his first 13 contests.
