Red Wings' Vladislav Namestnikov: Sinks Oilers with two-goal effort

Namestnikov scored a pair of goals on four shots and had a plus-3 rating in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Oilers.

Namestnikov staked the Red Wings to a 2-0 lead, using his speed to open the scoring in the first period and banging home a rebound on the doorstep in the middle frame. The 28-year-old already has seven goals through 14 games, just one shy of the eight he tallied in 53 contests a year ago.
