Spurgeon (lower body) was injured in the first period and is unlikely to return to Saturday's game versus the Panthers.
There was nothing obvious as to how Spurgeon got hurt, but it's unlikely he gets back on the ice Saturday. The Wild play Sunday versus the Lightning, which is a bit of a quick turnaround for Spurgeon to heal up. If he can't play, Jordie Benn could enter the lineup or Calen Addison could be called up from AHL Iowa.
