Noah Dobson D | MON
Canadiens' Noah Dobson: One of each in Sunday's loss
Dobson scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist and added two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Blues.
Dobson helped out on a Cole Caufield tally in the first period before scoring one of his own in the third. This effort snapped a five-game slump for Dobson, who had points in four straight contests prior to his dry spell. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to four goals, 14 helpers, 52 shots on net, 61 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 28 appearances in a top-four role.

John Klingberg D | SJ
Sharks' John Klingberg: Multi-point effort in win
Klingberg netted a goal, tallied an assist, put three shots on target and blocked three shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over Carolina.
Klingberg made his presence felt in the second period, scoring an even-strength goal before picking up a power-play helper on Alexander Wennberg's tally. Overall, Klingberg is up to four goals, five assists, 33 shots on net and 28 blocks through 21 games this season. He's been a staple on the top power-play unit this season, which elevates his point ceiling as a part of the Sharks' fast-paced offense. When healthy, Klingberg has solid value in deep fantasy leagues.

Kale Clague D | WPG
Jets' Kale Clague: Three-point showing for Moose
Clague scored two goals and added an assist in AHL Manitoba's 4-3 win over Iowa on Sunday.
This was Clague's best game of the season so far. He's earned seven points over his last seven games, but prior to this stretch, he went eight contests without a point. Overall, he's produced six goals, five helpers and a minus-13 rating over 23 appearances. The Jets' crowded blue line at the NHL level likely means Clague won't be getting called up this year.

Alex Huang D | NSH
Predators' Alex Huang: Puts up three helpers
Huang logged three assists in QMJHL Chicoutimi's 7-6 overtime loss to Baie-Comeau on Sunday.
Huang has six helpers over his last three games. The defenseman continues to pile up assists this season, logging two goals and 24 helpers over 25 outings on the year. The 2024 fourth-round pick of the Predators is showing growth on offense, and his plus-18 rating is proof of improvement in his own zone as well.

John Carlson D | WAS
Capitals' John Carlson: Won't play Sunday
Carlson (upper body) isn't in the lineup for Sunday's home matchup against Columbus, according to Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.
Carlson will miss his third game in a row, with his next chance to return to the lineup coming at home Thursday versus the Hurricanes. Due to his absence, Dylan McIlrath will suit up Sunday and skate next to Rasmus Sandin on the third pairing, while Martin Fehervary and Trevor van Riemsdyk will comprise Washington's No. 1 pairing.

Cale Makar D | COL
Avalanche's Cale Makar: Lifts assist streak to three
Makar dished out an assist, put a shot on goal and recorded three blocks in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Flyers.
Makar picked up a secondary helper on Brock Nelson's power-play goal in the closing minute of the first period Sunday. With the apple, Makar is up to 26 assists, 35 points, 86 shots on net and 52 blocks through 29 games this season. The reigning Norris Trophy winner leads all defensemen in points and is on track to reach the 90-point threshold for the third consecutive regular season. Makar remains one of the best overall players in fantasy and is a key piece for the league-leading Avalanche.
-
Brent Burns D | COL
Avalanche's Brent Burns: Lights lamp Sunday
Burns scored a goal and placed three shots on net in Sunday's 3-2 win over Philadelphia.
Burns tallied the first goal of the game for the Avs midway through the opening period. The 40-year-old defenseman has four goals, 14 points, 63 shots on net, and 38 blocks through 29 games this season. Burns is one of the NHL's toughest players, having missed just 38 games over the last 12 seasons, but the veteran is showing he still has some scoring touch left with three points in his last five games. Given his top-four role for the league's best team record-wise, Burns should continue to have solid value in most fantasy formats for the remainder of the season.

Zachary Metsa D | BUF
Sabres' Zach Metsa: Brought up from AHL
Metsa was recalled from AHL Rochester on Sunday, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
The Sabres assigned Noah Ostlund to the minors in a corresponding move. Metsa's recall provides Buffalo with a sixth defenseman ahead of Monday's road game against Calgary, but it's unclear if he will get a chance to play.

Stars' Ilya Lyubushkin: Won't play Sunday
Lyubushkin (lower body) won't play against Pittsburgh on Sunday, according to Dallas beat writer Robert Triffin.
Lyubushkin is day-to-day and will miss at least one game after getting injured in Friday's 4-1 win over San Jose. He has compiled five assists, 41 blocked shots and 30 hits in 21 appearances this season. Nils Lundkvist (lower body) will return to the lineup and replace Lyubushkin in Sunday's lineup versus the Penguins.
