Ryan Pulock D | NYI
Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Pair of helpers in win
Pulock tallied two assists, put two shots on goal and blocked five shots in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Avalanche.
Pulock slid the primary helper on Kyle MacLean's opening goal before later assisting Bo Horvat's tally in the second period. With the pair of apples, Pulock is up to 13 assists, 34 shots on goal, 24 hits and 48 blocks through 28 games this season. While the 31-year-old defenseman is still on the hunt for his first goal of the season, he has provided excellent category coverage of late with four assists, six shots on goal, six hits and 12 blocks in his last four contests. He lacks the goal-scoring upside that most successful defensemen in fantasy hockey have, but Pulock has worth in deep leagues that value categories rather than points while playing alongside Matthew Schaefer on the Isles' top defensive pairing.

Simon Benoit D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Simon Benoit: Nabs helper in win
Benoit logged an assist, four hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.
Benoit snapped a 12-game point drought with the helper. The 27-year-old defenseman has been a steady presence the lineup this season, providing some physicality but little offense. He's at three assists, 17 shots on net, 62 hits, 37 blocked shots, 17 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 25 appearances.

Philippe Myers D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Philippe Myers: Gets on scoresheet with helper
Myers notched an assist in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Hurricanes.
The assist was Myers' first point of the season. He was scratched for six of seven games between Nov. 13-28, but he's since played in three straight contests. In addition to the helper, Myers has 14 shots on net, 15 hits, 18 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 13 appearances. He'll likely compete with Dakota Mermis for playing time while Brandon Carlo (lower body) and Chris Tanev (upper body) remain out.

Wyatt Kaiser D | CHI
Blackhawks' Wyatt Kaiser: Nets game-winner Thursday
Kaiser scored a goal on two shots and added two blocked shots in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Kings.
The tally was Kaiser's first of the season, and it stood as the game-winner in this contest. He's earned just three points over his last 10 games, though he continues to have a steady top-four role on the Blackhawks' defense. He's at five points, 26 shots on net, 27 blocks, 18 hits and a plus-5 rating through 27 appearances this year. Until Kaiser shows more consistent offense, most fantasy managers won't need to roster him.

Ryan Lindgren D | SEA
Kraken's Ryan Lindgren: Not much action on offense
Lindgren has earned just two points over 15 games since the start of November, and he was held off the scoresheet in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Oilers.
Lindgren has three helpers, 18 shots on net, 14 hits, 39 blocked shots, 33 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 25 outings this season. The 27-year-old's playing style is heavily defensive, though his physicality appears to be trending down this year as well. Nonetheless, the Kraken have kept Lindgren mainly on the second pairing as a counterbalance to the more talented Brandon Montour.

Josh Mahura D | SEA
Kraken's Josh Mahura: Stuck outside of lineup
Mahura was scratched for the 12th game in a row in Thursday's 9-4 loss to the Oilers.
Mahura has no path to playing time, as the Kraken haven't made changes on defense since they got their preferred six blueliners healthy in early November. The 27-year-old has two points, nine shots on net, 13 hits, 21 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 13 appearances. He'll compete with Cale Fleury if an injury opens up a spot in the Kraken's defense later in the season.
-
Brett Kulak D | PIT
Oilers' Brett Kulak: Cold on offense
Kulak's point drought reached 22 games in Thursday's 9-4 win over the Kraken.
Kulak was not one of the 11 Oilers to get on the scoresheet in this blowout win. During the slump, the defenseman has 29 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating. He's been a fixture on the third pairing, but Kulak's total lack of offense -- two assists in 28 outings -- makes him a no-go for most fantasy formats.

Mattias Ekholm D | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Gathers two helpers in win
Ekholm notched two assists, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 9-4 win over the Kraken.
Ekholm has been productive with a goal and five helpers over his last five games. That follows a stretch in which he had just one assist over 12 outings. The 35-year-old defenseman is vital to the Oilers' defensive efforts, so scoring will often take a backseat to protecting his own zone, though he can be a strong all-around contributor in the best of times. For the year, he has two goals, 11 helpers, 56 shots on net, 49 blocked shots, 22 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 28 appearances.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Fifteen points in last 10 games
Raddysh delivered two assists Thursday in a 4-3 loss to the Penguins.
His offensive assault continues. Raddysh was held off the score sheet Tuesday, but he still has 15 points, including 13 assists, in his last 10 games. One of the assists Tuesday came on the power play. Raddysh needs to be in your lineup until he falters.

Evan Bouchard D | EDM
Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Posts three assists in win
Bouchard notched three assists, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 9-4 win over the Kraken.
Bouchard showed a little bit in all situations. His first helper was on Vasily Podkolzin's even-strength goal in the first period before adding primary assists on a Matt Savoie shorthanded tally and a Connor McDavid power-play strike in the middle frame. Bouchard has a goal and seven helpers, as well as a plus-6 rating over his last five contests. For the season, the 26-year-old defenseman is at 25 points (four goals, 21 helpers), 72 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in 28 appearances. His shorthanded helper was his first point in that situation since the 2022-23 campaign.
