  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Between pipes Saturday

    Oettinger will patrol the home crease versus Florida on Saturday.

    Oettinger saw his six-game winning streak snapped Thursday, allowing three goals on 30 shots in a 5-2 loss in Minnesota. Oettinger is 14-5-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.51 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 21 starts this season. The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Panthers are 13th overall in the Eastern Conference standings, three points out of the second wild card.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Recalled on emergency basis

    Murashov was called up from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on an emergency basis Saturday.

    Stuart Skinner has to finalize some immigration paperwork and landed on the non-roster list ahead of Saturday's home matchup against San Jose. Murashov will probably remain with Pittsburgh as Arturs Silovs' backup until Skinner is available to play.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting in Dallas

    Bobrovsky will defend the road net against the Stars on Saturday, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports.

    Despite allowing nine goals on 61 shots, Bobrovsky has won his last two outings. He has a 12-8-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.98 GAA and an .882 save percentage through 21 appearances this season. Dallas ranks fourth in the league with 3.38 goals per game this year.

  • Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Facing Maple Leafs

    Jarry will suit up for the first time with the Edmonton Oilers when they are on the road in Toronto on Saturday, per Tony Brar of Oilers TV.

    Jarry and Samuel Poulin were dealt to Edmonton with Stuart Skinner, Brett Kulak and a second-round pick in 2029 headed to Pittsburgh. Jarry was 9-3-1 with a 2.66 GAA and a .909 save percentage in 14 appearances with Pittsburgh. The Maple Leafs are generating 3.30 goals per game, tied for sixth in the NHL this season.

    Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Defending crease Saturday

    Fowler will guard the road goal against the Rangers on Saturday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

    Fowler will make his second straight start after a successful NHL debut. He is coming off a 36-save performance in Thursday's 4-2 win over Pittsburgh. The Rangers rank 29th in the league with 2.56 goals per game this season.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Moves on non-roster list

    Skinner (not injured related) was granted non-roster status and won't be available for Saturday's home game against San Jose.

    Skinner has to settle some immigration paperwork after being acquired from Edmonton on Friday, making it unclear when he will be available to make his Pittsburgh debut. The Penguins recalled Sergei Murashov on an emergency basis to back up Arturs Silovs against San Jose on Saturday.

    Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Starting in Columbus

    Hart was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports, and will defend the visiting crease in Columbus on Saturday.

    Hart will make his fourth start of the season, posting a 2-0-1 mark with a 2.80 GAA and an .889 save percentage in his first three games since January of 2024. The Blue Jackets are tied for 21st in NHL scoring, averaging 2.90 goals per contest.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Gets starting nod Saturday

    Ersson will start Saturday's home matchup versus Carolina, according to Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

    Ersson is 2-2-0 in his last four starts, allowing 10 goals on 105 shots. Overall, the 26-year-old is 5-3-2 with a 2.99 GAA and a poor .871 save percentage over 10 appearances. The Hurricanes are tied for sixth in NHL scoring, generating 3.30 goals per game this season.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Guarding goal Saturday

    Shesterkin will patrol the home crease against Montreal on Saturday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports.

    Shesterkin has gone 0-1-1 in his last two outings while permitting six goals on 67 shots. He has a 12-10-3 record with one shutout, a 2.48 GAA and a .912 save percentage through 25 appearances this season. Montreal sits 10th in the league with 3.17 goals per game this year.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

    Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Facing Devils

    Dostal will defend the road net against New Jersey on Saturday, per Mike Morreale of NHL.com.

    Following a nine-game absence due to an upper-body injury, the Ducks activated Dostal on Friday from injured reserve. He has posted a record of 11-5-1 with a 2.81 GAA and a .904 save percentage through 17 appearances this season. New Jersey is tied for 21st in the league with 2.90 goals per game this campaign.
