This applies to the 2020 season, as emphasized by MaxPreps host and analyst Steve Montoya on a recent CBS Sports HQ Show.

Five of the top nine teams in the MaxPreps preseason Top 25 boast major quarterback talent, including J.J. McCarthy of No. 1 IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), who transferred this spring to the Florida power from Illinois.
