First and foremost, it's that World Series time of year on the baseball calendar. Of lesser immediate import -- but still noteworthy -- is that college baseball recruiting classes have taken shape. Thus, the top observers in the biz have recently weighed in on which teams have landed the best haul of amateur baseball talent this time around. 

To wit, Baseball America recently named its top 25 recruiting classes for 2015 (subscription required). To give you just a taste, here are the top five ... 

1. Vanderbilt
2. Florida
3. UCLA
4. Georgia Tech
5. Mississippi State

As you can see, the two publications agree on the top four, as 2014 national champion (and 2015 runner-up) Vanderbilt tops both lists. Reigning national champion Virginia appears on both lists a bit further down.
