Ben Revere gets a rest Friday

Phillies outfielder Ben Revere was not in the team's starting lineup Friday against the Reds.

Revere will sit in favor of John Mayberry. Jimmy Rollins will hit leadoff with Revere on the bench. In 138 at-bats, Revere has hit .268.
