Blue Jays outfielder Michael Saunders is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees after having his knee drained, general manager Alex Anthopoulos said before the game per SportsNet.
Saunders was dealing with fluid in his knee and needed to have it drained. Saunders missed time early in the season while recovering from knee surgery. He is available to play, according to Anthopoulos.
Saunders is hitting .222 with thre RBI in 27 at-bats this season.
