Carlos Gonzalez had 'fatty mass with tentacles' removed from finger
Turns out the foreign body doctors removed from Carlos Gonzalez's finger was a "fatty mass with tentacles." Uh, yikes.

In this very space on Tuesday, we noted Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez had a "foreign body" removed from a finger on his left hand. It had been bothering him for weeks and after unsuccessfully trying to play through it, he had an exploratory surgery.
Turns out that foreign body is slighty more gross than initially reported:
