Drew Butera removes splint on hand

Twins minor-league catcher Drew Butera, on the minor-league disabled list with a broken left hand, removed the splint on his hand and started his rehab.

Butera played just one game with Triple-A Rochester before getting hurt. There is no concrete timetable for his return.
