You'll recall that Derek Jeter's alleged offseason weight gain sent New York Post headline writers into hysterics (admittedly, not a difficult thing to do), and then it even spawned a meme. To the objective eye, however, Jeter never looked particularly "fat" in the first place. And now, courtesy of MLB Network's Harold Reynolds, comes photographic evidence that the Yankees shortstop is indeed in pretty darn good shape as he continues to recover from October ankle surgery:

Alas and alack: Fat Derek Jeter is no longer fat.
