Gibbons: Sanchez, Osuna to share eighth- and ninth-inning roles

Blue Jays relievers Aaron Sanchez and Roberto Osuna will share the eighth- and ninth-inning roles, manager John Gibbons said Tuesday.

The Blue Jays acquired veteran reliever LaTroy Hawkins, who has experience as a closer, in a trade with the Rockies late Monday night. However, Gibbons stressed Hawkins will be used in the sixth and seventh innings.
