Braves pitcher Julio Teheran turned in an impressive outing but was unable to factor into the decision Monday night against the Phillies. The right-hander permitted one run on four hits and no walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Teheran lowered his ERA from 2.41 to 2.31 on the year. He owns a 0.93 WHIP and 84:21 K:BB ratio over 15 starts (105 innings). He will make his next start Saturday at Washington.
